The Sahara desertscape is travelled through, lived, and filmed to construct an interactive virtual representation of the territory. The research draws on interpretive practices and representational techniques developed by the disciplines of architecture, film, and anthropology. The series of films locate the Sahara simultaneously within larger structures of globalization, exchange, and migration as well as within the lived experiences of its details, slow moments, landscapes, and inhabitants.
